DESCRIPTION:We are proud to partner with the Biltmore to invite members and friends to a formal cocktail affair. This elegant experience will include your first drink AND an opportunity to enjoy your cocktails inside the Mystery Room\, the Biltmore’s authentic 1920s speakeasy with the Biltmore’s lead historian. Learn about the speakeasy and Biltmore’s charming history. Spend a while with the Art Deco Society in our reserved section in the Wright Bar lounge\, sip on a special craft cocktail made just for this celebration\, and take in the beauty of the Jewel of the Desert. \nWe are celebrating in style this evening. Our dress code is vintage\, cocktail\, or formal attire.  \n  \nYour ticket includes\n \n\nWelcome cocktail\nTake your cocktail up to the Mystery Room!\n\nPaired with a mini history tour of the speakeasy. (appx 20 mins – limited capacity in the Mystery Room so that all guests have the opportunity to enjoy!\n\n\nAccess to the Society’s reserved lounge section\nLive music in the lobby bar – Kristofer Hill on Spanish guitar\n\nThe tour group to go up to the Mystery Room will be small. To accommodate everyone\, guests will rotate on tours that last approximately 20 minutes. Please buy your tickets in advance to help us coordinate. \n  \nScenes from the history Mystery Room…Secretly built in 1929\, the Mystery Room dazzles and delights as an authentic speakeasy. Framed by iconic Biltmore blocks\, the room features the original fireplace and a bookshelf that opens up to a bar. \n \n\nWhat are we celebrating?\nApril 28th commemorates the opening of the 1925 Exposition Internationale Des Arts Decoratifs et Industrials Moderne in Paris\,where Art Deco made its first international debut.
