Celebrating the Art of Film
The Phoenix Art Deco Society’s Art Deco Film Club upholds the mission to celebrate and share the art of historic film from the 1920s-1940s that helped shape the Jazz Age through public screenings, sharing educational resources, and creating educational opportunities for the community.
The Film Club hosts screenings at least once every quarter that are open to the public. Whether you are a film buff or are looking for a fun night out, all are welcome to join us at the movies!

Spencer Leese
CoChair Spencer Leese is a relatively new Phoenician, moving down from Pacific Northwest, and is quickly learning that an air conditioned movie theater is a pretty good way to beat the heat. Spencer’s passion for film took a turn towards the classics in a college course on Alfred Hitchcock. He’s enthusiastic about the opportunity to help discover and share movies that highlight the art deco era!
Amy Foster
Co-Chair Amy Foster is a Phoenix native who is thrilled to share her love of classic movies with her hometown. Her preference is for screwball comedies and Buster Keaton silents, but will never turn down a noir. She is excited that the Phoenix Art Deco Society can showcase these gems to old and new audiences
