The Hotel San Carlos opened on March 19, 1928, and just weeks after its grand opening, a young woman jumped from the seventh-story hotel to her death. This was only the beginning of the hauntings at this legendary hotel.
Join the Phoenix Art Deco Society for a unique and spine-tingling experience on May 25th at the historic Hotel San Carlos in Phoenix. This ghost tour will take you on a journey through this iconic hotel’s haunted and historic halls and rooms, where you’ll hear about the eerie legends and ghostly sightings that have occurred in the height of the Jazz Age and beyond. What’s so special about the Hotel San Carlos?
Built in 1928, The Hotel San Carlos is Phoenix’s only Historic Boutique Hotel. It is among the oldest surviving hotels in the city and the first to include air conditioning in Phoenix. The Hotel San Carlos invited guests like Mae West, Carole Lombarde, and Clark Gable.
