About the Event:

“Our presentation describes the evolution of Art Deco in Calcutta, India from the time of its introduction shortly after the Paris Exhibition of 1925 and concluding with the post WWII period. This twenty-five year period was a time of great turmoil in Calcutta. It’s an important story that needs to be better known.“
