With a mission to bring forgotten art forms to the modern day, the Phoenix Art Deco Society produced an on-stage production of the 1939 radio drama, War of the Worlds, live on stage in the fall of 2024. Minor adaptations were made to the script to locate the story in Phoenix, Arizona. The production included a live swing band, authentic commercial breaks, and a historic ambiance under the stars at the Heritage Square Pavilion.
