The General: Silent Film at the Orpheum Theatre

The Phoenix Art Deco Society has a handful of tickets at a discounted price for our members! Come see the silent film, The General, with us on March 3rd!
Enjoy the movie going experience of the bygone era of silent film, seated in the wonder of Phoenix’s only remaining movie palace, the beautifully restored Orpheum Theatre. Now in its twenty second season, Silent Sundays features a classic silent film accompanied live by world renowned organist Ron Rhode on the Orpheum Theatre’s Mighty Wurlitzer pipe organ. Bring the whole family. Children under 12 are free when accompanied by an adult.
When: March 3, 2024
Meet time: 2:00pm in front of the theatre
Show Time: 2:30pm
Where: Orpheum Theatre
This is a casual meet-up for our members interested in silent film. The Art Deco Society will meet outside of the Orpheum Theatre at 2:00pm (30minutes before show time) so you can get your ticket. Please give yourself extra time to park and get through security to enter the Orpheum. We encourage our members to dress up in the spirit of 1920s movie-goers and pay respect to such a grand theatre! We’ll see you there!
Tickets are usually $23 + $5.70 in fees through the Orpheum
Our members are getting a discounted rate of $18. We are passing on this discount to our members. We only have 10 tickets available, so it’s first come, first served. If you are interested in more silent film nights, let us know, and we will try to organize larger groups in the future!
Limit one ticket per member.
